Rowing Against Diabetes On July 3, 2007, Joslin patient Dana Gaines will complete a 25 mile open ocean row from Martha's Vineyard to Nantucket to celebrate his 50th birthday. Dana's event, on behalf of Team Joslin, will raise money in support of Joslin's High Hopes Fund. Please show your support and sponsor Dana in his event! You can support Dana online or by filling out a printable gift form.

Indian Ladder Trail Run On July 15, 2007, Rebecca Biggerstaff will run a 15K in honor of her two sisters and in support of Joslin's High Hopes Fund. Please support Rebecca's efforts and sponsor her online.

35th Annual Falmouth Road Race The 35th Annual Falmouth Road Race will take place on Sunday, August 12, 2007, and it's not too late to run! Joslin has race numbers available exclusively for Team Joslin runners. You'll have the opportunity to run this scenic, 7-mile course through Cape Cod while making a difference in the fight against diabetes. Toronto Marathon On October 14, 2007, Jamey Allen will mark the 10 year anniversary of his diabetes diagnosis with his 10th marathon in a decade. Read Jamey's story and help him meet his fundraising goal!

Ford Florida Ironman On November 3, 2007 Ryan Phillips will be participating in his first Team Joslin event in support of Joslin's High Hopes Fund. The event includes a 2.4-mile swim, 112 miles of biking, and a 26.2-mile marathon. Click below to support Ryan online.

Meet Our Team Captain
 Joslin is excited to announce a partnership with Ironman Triathlete Jay Hewitt, who will act as the Captain of Team Joslin. In addition to being an Ironman Triathlete, Jay is a member of the U.S. National Team for Long Course Triathlon, an attorney practicing in business litigation, and a professional motivational speaker.
Jay’s personal experience as an athlete with diabetes has made him a role model for the diabetes community. | |

Beach Reached for Team Joslin: Congratulations, Islanders Joslin patient Dana Gaines and his Islanders teammates went the distance for the High Hopes Fund and completed the Reach the Beach RelayTM, a two-day journey of more than 200 miles from Bretton Woods to Hampton Beach, NH.
