Asian Clinic
Joslin's Asian Clinic, directed by William Hsu, MD and staffed by senior physician, Om Ganda, MD, integrates Joslin Clinic’s exceptional Joslin Care patient care and education approach with a focus on nutrition therapy provided by Sophia Cheung, M.S., R.D. Through culturally oriented and linguistically appropriate approaches, Joslin's Asian Clinic aims to enhance the quality of life and health outcomes for Asian Americans with diabetes.
Clinic Services
Joslin's Asian Clinic provides one-on-one appointments with a physician and a dietitian/diabetes educator who are culturally sensitive to the Asian American population. Diabetes care is offered through a team of endocrinologists, an ophthalmologist, an optometrist, a registered dietitian, a care ambassador, and a medical assistant. The care ambassador provides personalized service to our patients- scheduling patient appointments and handling prescriptions, and serves as a liason between our patients and the clinic. Our team speaks Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), Vietnamese, and Hindi.
