Baltimore Washington Medical Center, Glen Burnie, MD:
Excellent opportunity for a BC/BE Endocrinologist to join the staff of the Joslin Diabetes Center at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.  Physician will be joining a very busy hospital-based practice affiliated with the Joslin Diabetes Center at the University of Maryland Medical Center.  Competitive salary and excellent benefits package. 

Physicians will participate as members of the medical staff of Baltimore Washington Medical Center, an affiliate of the University of Maryland Medical System.  BWMC is a suburban community hospital consisting of 272 beds, a medical staff of 600+ physicians and an inpatient-only hospitalist team. Within the past 6 years, BWMC has expanded its services to include:  a freestanding Comprehensive Cancer Center, a new Emergency Department, Joslin Diabetes Center, Wound Healing Center, The Maryland Vascular Center, Joint & Spine Centers and the Aiello Breast Center.  The Medical Center has also recently embarked on the biggest expansion plans of its forty-year history, which will add 111 private medical surgical beds, which includes 24 intensive care beds, as well as an 18 bed obstetrical unit and an addition of 17 treatment rooms in the ED. 

The practice location is situated near the Chesapeake Bay, an enticing place to live, play and work because of the diversified lifestyles that are offered.  Located between Baltimore, Washington and Annapolis, provides easy access to cultural, recreational and educational opportunities.
